We would like to share with you a story and a song from one of the talented ladies in our church.
Hi all,
My name is Kara and when I have free time after being a wife and mother, I squeeze in some time to be an original artist releasing Christian adult contemporary pieces.
One such release, titled “Soldiers” discusses the correlation between armed forces and missionaries fighting for our King, Jesus Christ.

It states, “with prayers on our lips and Bibles in hands, many have fallen, but here we will stand, Soldiers, fighting for our King.”
“SOLDIERS” is a fundraising song with all proceeds going to Camp Shining Light Vanuatu to assist with the Tropical Cyclone Pam aid relief and for ongoing missions work of Pastors Phil Pinero and Jeremy Pinero, and their families and churches.
Severe Tropical Cyclone Pam, which hit in March 2015, is regarded as one of the worst natural disasters in the history of Vanuatu. 24 lives were lost and more than 100,000 people are thought to have been made homeless.
As well as working on the front line to comfort and minister to these devastated people, the support teams from Camp Shining Light, headed by veteran missionary Pr. Philippe Pinero and Pr. Jeremy Pinero, are actively raising funds to get the victims clean water, food, medical supplies, shelter and share with them the message of God’s gift of salvation.
To see some of what these hardworking servants of God get up to, you can watch the video for Soldiers and can follow the links to purchase the song
God bless,
Kara
